01Do I need a voltage converter or just a plug adapter?

Check the label on your device or its charger. If it says INPUT 100–240V, it’s dual-voltage: a plug adapter is all you need (most phones, laptops and camera chargers). If it says 110V or 120V only, as many US hair straighteners, curling irons and shavers do, you need a voltage converter. The trip check above works it out for you.

02Can I use a hair dryer with a SOKOO converter?

No. Our converters power devices up to 230W in total, and hair dryers usually draw 1,000W or more. Take a dual-voltage travel hair dryer and use it with a plug adapter instead.

03Will it work in Europe, the UK and Australia?

Yes. Every SOKOO converter has a detachable EU cord for continental Europe and comes with UK and Australian adapters. The original kit and the 5-adapter kit add an India plug too. See the plug chart for each model.

04How many devices can I charge at once?

Up to six on a converter: two devices in the US outlets, one on the 18W USB-C port and three on the USB-A ports.

05Is the cooling fan noisy?

No. The fan only keeps the converter cool and is designed to run quietly, so you can leave a phone charging overnight in a hotel room.

06What if something goes wrong?

Every SOKOO product has a 12-month warranty and 30-day returns. If a product is faulty, we pay the shipping both ways. Email us and we’ll sort it out.
